Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which was showcassed by Mobilink earlier has now officially been introduced In Pakistan On Their Website. The price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Pakistan is Rs. 56,999/-. This price includes a 3 Months Free GPRS service(activted from the day you buy) and the device is not network locked which means you can use it on any other mobile carrier i.e. Telenor, Ufone etc without any issues. The device comes with a 1 year Teletec warranty(which is not a very good company in terms of warranty claims).
As for the tablet Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 is the only decent competitor to the iPad 2 and has almost the same features , it features a large 10.1” touch screen(bigger then the 9.7 inch screen of iPad2), Full 720P HD video player, dual cameras(3 MP Auto Focus Rear + 2MP Front), GPRS, WiFi®, and Bluetooth. It comes packed with an Android OS, v3.0 (Honeycomb) As the device is Android based the tablet can easily play Flash content unlike the iPad 2 which has no flash capability.
