After the launch of the new iPad everyone was expecting apps to be overhauled to take advantage of the higher resolution, today a few big name have optimized their apps for the new iPad’s Retina display.
The biggest of those is Amazon’s Kindle app, which now promises sharper fonts than ever, along with the ability to switch between books stored on your device and in the cloud. Also getting a Retina-friendly update is Evernote, which offers improved text editing in addition to the display tweak, plus the otherwise unchanged Vimeo, and Weather Pro, which now boasts high-resolution maps. Of course, those are just among the first of many, Twitter for iOS and Infinity Blade II are also getting high resolution makeovers at this time and will be available soon.
More apps will be coming soon as the crossover is eminent, if you find any apps you know are getting a makeover, tell us via the comments.(Engadget)
